Bread Baker
Loaf Bakery is looking for a motivated professional baker for afternoon/evening baking shifts Monday - Friday (estimated schedule 11 am - 7 pm, with some exceptions).
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Mixing large batch size bread doughs
Hand mixing preferments
Scaling, shaping and baking sourdough boules, bread rolls and pan loaves
Ingredient preparation for breads and savory items
Sheeting and cutting pastry doughs

One year of bread experience is required.
Pay is dependent upon experience, but begins at $19/hr including tip share

Farmers’ Market Attendent
We are seeking a motivated and independent worker who can run our mid week Farmers’ Market booths on Tuesday and Wednesday from April - November. Hours are estimated to be from 1 pm - 7 pm each day.
Compensation is $18/hr plus all the veggies you can trade for and leftover pastries!
Duties include but are not limited to:
Loading and driving a cargo van (valid driver’s license required)
Knowledge and ability to confidently communicate knowledge of our products
Smart phone and ability to run the square app
Ability to lift 50 lbs
The job begins and ends at the bakery in downtown Durham, where you pack, load, and unload pastries and breads, but you will be traveling to both the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market and Durham Farmers’ Market.
